Oliver Hayward Finishes 32nd At Magog Triathlon
Bermuda’s Oliver Hayward placed 32nd in the Elite Men’s race at the 2026 Americas Triathlon Cup Magog in Canada, completing the sprint-distance event in 58min 21sec.
The appearance marked Hayward’s first listed World Triathlon start in the Elite Men’s category, with the official results showing 54 starters and 52 finishers.
Hayward completed the 750-metre swim in 9:40, recording the 28th-fastest time before spending 34 seconds in the first transition.
His strongest segment came on the 20-kilometre bike course, where he recorded a time of 29:33—the joint sixth-fastest cycling split of the race.
After completing the second transition in 36 seconds, Hayward posted a time of 18:00 for the five-kilometre run, the 42nd-fastest run split, before crossing the finish line in 32nd position.
