Bermuda Names U14 Squad For CFU Challenge
The Bermuda Football Association announced the U14 squad that will represent Bermuda at the Caribbean Football Union Under 14 Challenge Series, which will start on Monday, and see Bermuda match up against Barbados, Martinique and the Dominican Republic,
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] is delighted to announce the Bermuda U14 Team that will participate in the Caribbean Football Union Under 14 Challenge Series. The team, led by Head Coach Vashun Blanchette, is:
- “Goalkeepers: Tayte Browne, Henrik McIntosh
- “Defenders: Psalm Caines, Kyron Bryan, Caden Burgess, Vashon Martin, Amori Simons
- “Midfielders: Adam Barritt – Captain, Jace Postlethwaite, Roman Gaglio, Gebre Vickers, Quinn Farmsworth, Mackay Browne
- “Forwards: Shiloh Stevens, Asa Trew Smith, Cairo Burgess, Remi Furbert, A’daj O’brien
“The U14 Challenge Series is an important event for our young players and is often their first experience in international competition. The young Gombey Warriors will start the tournament against Barbados on Monday, August 17. The next day they will play Martinique. Bermuda will complete their group stage when they face the hosts, the Dominican Republic, on Wednesday, August 19.”
