Kempe 77th & Patton 110th At ILCA Worlds
Bermudian sailors Sebastian Kempe and Campbell Patton have now completed five races at the 2026 ILCA 7 Men’s World Championship in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.
According to the latest provisional results, Kempe sits 77th overall in the 141-boat field with 90 net points. Kempe has recorded finishes of 22nd, 17th, 23rd, 28th and 31st, with his 31st-place result currently serving as his discard.
Patton is 110th overall with 126 net points. His five finishes are 45th, 43rd, 24th, 31st and 28th, with the 45th-place result discarded.
The championship standings currently account for five races, with one discard applied.
Ireland’s Finn Lynch leads the overall standings with nine net points, followed by Germany’s Ole Schweckendiek with 12 points and Hungary’s Jonatán Vadnai with 14 points.
The ILCA 7 Men’s World Championship, which features 141 sailors representing 45 countries, is being held from August 23 to August 30.
