Medal Winner Jessica Lewis Returns Home
Jessica Lewis – who won a bronze medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Scotland — returned home last night.
A Government spokesperson said, “A special congratulations to Jessica Lewis on winning Bermuda’s first medal of the 2026 Commonwealth Games, earning bronze in the T53/T54 400 metres.
“We also welcomed home Norre Robinson, Peter Dunne, President of the Bermuda Olympic Association, and Jarita Vickers, Team Manager, thanking them for proudly representing Bermuda on the international stage. Congratulations, Team Bermuda!”
MP Kim Swan was among those who came out to welcome her home and he said, “I welcomed home Jessica Lewis who won Bronze Medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. Above being an outstanding athlete Jessica was so humble, she actually came back to me and thanked me for being there to meet her – that’s the mark of a true champion. Her story is one we can all learn from.”
