41-Year-Old Motorcyclist In ICU After Collision

A 41-year-old motorcyclist is in the Intensive Care Unit [ICU] following a collision on Happy Valley Road early this morning [Aug 31].

A police spokesperson said, “Around 12:01am Monday, 31st August 2026, a reported serious single vehicle collision occurred along Happy Valley Road in Pembroke, near Tribe Road Number 3. Police, Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service, as well as ambulance personnel responded.

“Details are limited at this time. However, initial information indicates that an injured motorcyclist, understood to be a 41-year-old Devonshire man, was found lying semi-conscious in the roadway, with a damaged motorcycle nearby.

“EMTs treated the injured man at the scene. He was then transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, for further medical care.

“At last check, the 41-year-old had been admitted into the Intensive Care Unit.

“Inquiries continue regarding the circumstances of this reported collision and any additional witnesses, or members of the public with relevant information, are encouraged to call Constable Tahis Barrow on 211, or e-mail tbarrow@bps.bm, as soon as possible.”
