Robin Hood Withdraws From Premier Division
The Bermuda Football Association announced that Robin Hood has withdrawn from the Premier Division, with Young Men’s Social Club remaining in the top flight.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Football Association officially advises that on July 15, Robin Hood Football Club informed us that it would be unable to fulfill its obligations as a Premier Division club. This is a consequence of a declining population, as well as players and parents exploring educational and football opportunities abroad.
“The Executive Council and clubs will continue addressing and formulating the necessary strategic initiatives to address these and other realities that are and will impact football in the future.
“The BFA is happy that Young Men’s Social Club has accepted the offer to remain in the Premier Division, and we are looking forward to an exciting season.”
