Video: Layla Williams Meets Singer Jelly Roll
Layla Williams made an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! television show after being stopped for a street interview that ended with Grammy Award-winning artist Jelly Roll surprising her in person.
Williams was taking part in a segment in which pedestrians were asked to give their opinions on a series of celebrities.
After being asked about actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Jason Momoa, Williams was asked to rate Jelly Roll and gave the singer an eight out of ten, explaining that she liked him as a person.
Moments later, Jelly Roll appeared, thanked Williams for her comments and embraced her.
Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, won three Grammy Awards at the 2026 ceremony, including Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken, Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Amen with Shaboozey, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for Hard Fought Hallelujah with Brandon Lake.
