Barroso And Chaves Win Silver At World Cup
Bermuda pickleball players Jose Barroso and Vincent Chaves earned the silver medal in the Amateur Men’s Doubles 50+ 4.0-and-above division at the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 in Da Nang, Vietnam.
Barroso and Chaves progressed through the draw to reach the championship match, where they faced Irfan Zack and Siang Sze Keong.
The Bermuda pair had earlier advanced past Steven Arcadipane and Chris Jones before overcoming Rogério de Almeida Silva and Hilton Salgado Gomes to secure their place in the final.
Zack and Sze Keong prevailed in the title match to claim the gold medal, with Barroso and Chaves completing their tournament with a silver medal.
