Butterfield Scores Twice In Halesowen Victory
Bermudian footballer Milan Butterfield scored twice to help Halesowen Town defeat Leighton Town 4–2 this weekend in England, playing in front of 1027 fans.
Butterfield scored the hosts’ second goal in the first half, finishing following a cross from Dan Meredith. He added his second in the 69th minute, running onto a pass from Ben Cassidy to put Halesowen 4–0 ahead.
Vanylson Silva and Jason Cowley also scored for Halesowen, before Leighton Town replied through Avan Jones and Stefan Vukoje late in the match.
