Footballer Amir Joins Future Pro In UK
Bermudian Amir has joined the Future Pro Football and Education Academy in Coventry, England.
The programme bridges the gap between academy and professional football for talented players aged 16 to 23.
“We’re delighted to welcome Amir to Future Pro, joining us from Bermuda,” a Future Pro statement said.
“Amir joins the programme following his participation in the Bermuda Triangle Cup with Somerset Trojans, before beginning his journey with Future Pro.
“We look forward to seeing Amir settle into the programme and continue his development throughout the season.”
The academy, which has several Bermudian players, recently competed in the Bermuda Triangle Cup at Flora Duffy Stadium.
