North Village Win Charity Cup Final
North Village defeated Dandy Town 3-1 in the Charity Cup final at Bernard Park yesterday [September 6].
Village forward Sincere Hall opened the scoring midway through the first half, turning his marker and firing into the top corner.
Town drew level early in the second half through Blaiz Hall, who struck a powerful shot from the edge of the box.
Village regained the lead through an own goal after Jalen Harvey’s header from a corner ricocheted off a defender.
Owen Botelho completed the scoring late on with a neat finish to make it 3-1.
Town won the Premier Division title last season, while Village claimed the FA Cup.
