Warwick Academy Reports Strong Exam Results

Warwick Academy has announced another strong set of International Baccalaureate [IB], BTEC and IGCSE examination results, with students achieving high marks and strong university placements across the programmes.

A spokesperson said, “Warwick Academy announces another outstanding set of International Baccalaureate [IB], BTEC and IGCSE examination results, continuing a sustained pattern of academic excellence that has become a hallmark of the school’s success.”

Commenting on the results, Mr David Horan, Principal, said: “I am extremely proud of this excellent set of results and of the dedication shown by our students. We congratulate every student on their success and look forward to following their future achievements. Of particular significance is the fact that 90% of our Year 13 Sixth Form graduates’ secured places at their first-choice universities and 100% at a university of their choice, a testament to the ambition of our students and the quality of support and guidance they receive at Warwick Academy.

“What is pleasing is that these results are not a one-off achievement. Year after year, our students continue to achieve outstanding outcomes across the IB, BTEC and IGCSE programmes. The consistency of these results over many years reflects the strength of our academic programmes, the expertise of our teachers, the hard work of our students, and support of their parents.”

A spokesperson added, “Warwick Academy’s IB Diploma Programme continues to perform well above global averages. For the seventh consecutive year, students achieved a 100% pass rate, compared with the worldwide pass rate of 82.6%, while recording an average score of 35 points, significantly above the global average of 30.8 points. “At IGCSE level, Warwick Academy Year 11 students delivered exceptional outcomes. 93% of students achieved five or more grades at C/4 or above, while 88% of all examinations were awarded grades C/4 or higher, significantly exceeding the UK benchmark average of 67%. Additionally, 42% of all grades were awarded at the top category A/A and 9/8/7 grades, compared with the UK benchmark average of 21.8%.
