“The Coast Guard is aware that a civilian vessel in the area located debris in the water associated with the aircraft.

“The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is the lead agency investigating the incident. The Coast Guard continues to coordinate with Canadian authorities and partner agencies as appropriate. Questions regarding the investigation should be directed to the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.

“Given the nature of this incident, it is not uncommon to find debris in the water. If debris is discovered, contact the Transportation Safety Board of Canada at 1-819-994-3741 or www.TSB.gc.ca.”
