JetBlue Flight From NY Diverts To Bermuda

JetBlue flight B61009 — which was travelling from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic — diverted to Bermuda today [Oct 24], according to online flight trackers.

The flight tracker lists the Airbus A321 aircraft as having landed at L.F. Wade International Airport at 2.58pm Bermuda time.

The reason for the diversion has not been confirmed, however the vast majority of flight diversions to Bermuda tend to be as somebody on board requires medical attention.
