Extension of Deadline for Publication of the Regulatory Authority FY2027/28 Work Plan Consultation Document

Having reviewed the request from the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda [the “RA”] dated 16 September 2026, and pursuant to section 5[6][a] of the Regulatory Authority Act 2011, I Hereby conclude that the RA has demonstrated good cause for the grant of a waiver of the deadline prescribed under section 43[2] of the Regulatory Authority Act 2011 for commencement of the public consultation on its FY2027/28 Work Plan.

The extension is granted to allow additional time for engagement between the RA and the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding Government’s emerging policy priorities and expectations for the FY2027/28 planning cycle
I Hereby Give my consent to extend the deadline for publication of the RA’s FY2027/28 Work Plan Consultation Document from 30 September 2026 to 30 October 2026.

The FY2027/28 Work Plan Consultation Document shall therefore be published no later than 30 October 2026.
