Khari Sharrieff Bermuda Oct 7 2026Bermudian footballer Khari Sharrieff started for Howard University as the Bison played to a 1-1 draw against Mercyhurst at Greene Stadium in Washington D.C.

Sharrieff played 69 minutes in the Northeast Conference encounter, which marked the first draw in the all-time series between the two programmes.

Howard opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Onarae Rice netted his first collegiate goal, converting at the 17:13 mark following assists from Justin Mims and Marshall Lloyd.

The Bison carried their 1-0 advantage into the interval, with goalkeeper Liam Keiller making a number of saves as Mercyhurst applied pressure.

Mercyhurst equalised in the 61st minute, and although both teams created further opportunities, neither was able to find a winner.

Keiller made seven saves before leaving the match after 81 minutes, while Joshua Snyder recorded another four saves after coming on for the closing stages.

Mercyhurst finished with a 26-5 advantage in shots and a 12-2 edge in efforts on target, while Howard moved to 3-7-1 overall and 1-1-1 in conference play.
