TABS Wins Two Cayman Islands Gold Awards
Bermuda-born lifestyle brand TABS has won two Gold awards in the 2026 Best of Cayman Islands Awards, marking its second consecutive year receiving the honours.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda-born lifestyle brand TABS is celebrating another milestone, taking home two Gold awards in the 2026 Best of Cayman Islands Awards for the second consecutive year.
“TABS Cayman was voted Gold for Best Local Boutique and Best Menswear, with the awards determined by public vote — an achievement founder Rebecca Singleton says is particularly meaningful just three years after the brand expanded into the Cayman Islands.”
“To win Gold for the second year in a row, and to know that it is voted for by the public, is incredibly special,” said Singleton. “We took something that started here in Bermuda and tested whether it could resonate in another island market. The response in Cayman has given us real confidence in the strength of TABS as a brand and its potential beyond Bermuda.”
The spokesperson said, “The Cayman success comes during a period of continued growth for TABS. The company recently presented its latest collections at a trade show in New York City as it develops wholesale opportunities across the United States and internationally.
“Closer to home, Singleton says TABS’ Hamilton flagship has just recorded its strongest summer to date.”
“There is so much conversation about the challenges facing bricks-and-mortar retail, but our experience has made me firmly believe there is still a customer looking for a highly curated, high-quality and genuinely enjoyable in-store experience,” said Singleton. “You can buy almost anything online now, but you can’t replicate great service, human connection, discovery and the feeling you get when you walk into a beautiful store and find something you love. For independent retailers, I think that experience matters more than ever.”
The spokesperson said, “Alongside the continued growth of TABS, Singleton has also launched Isla Botanica, a luxury fragrance and body-care brand inspired by island living and the restorative power of scent.
“Launched in Bermuda in 2025, Isla Botanica has continued to grow its presence locally, with the brand now stocked in a number of leading hotels and retailers across the island.
“Despite the growth, Singleton says the foundation of both businesses remains firmly in Bermuda.”
“None of this happens without our customers,” she said. “So much of our growth has come through word of mouth and people genuinely believing in what we are creating. We have had extraordinary support from local customers, visitors, our corporate community and people who simply want to champion a Bermuda-born business.”
“We feel incredibly lucky to be able to build brands from this beautiful island we call home and then take a little piece of Bermuda out into the world.”
The spokesperson said, “And as for what comes next, Singleton is keeping some plans under wraps.”
“I have a few big things in the pipeline,” she said. “Watch this space. There is definitely more to come..”
