Tyler Smith Finishes 5th At Europe Triathlon Cup
Bermudian triathlete Tyler Smith finished fifth at the Europe Triathlon Cup Ceuta, completing the race in 52min 03sec.
Smith was just nine seconds behind German winner Jan Scheffold, who crossed the line in 51:54. Germany’s Till Kramp placed second in 51:56, Spain’s Eduardo Blanco Mollá was third in 51:57, and Esteban Basanta Fouz, also of Spain, finished fourth in 52:01.
Smith completed the swim in 8:09 before recording a 1:06 first transition. He covered the cycling segment in 27:12, followed by a 27-second second transition and a 15:12 run.
