She’s the Bermudian face of things to come in the New York modelling world.
The latest update from StyleBermuda.com features a photoshoot and interview with Bermudian model Lillian Lightbourn, who now lives and works in New York after being signed by a modelling agency in the city last year.

Modeling locally since 2007, Ms Lightbourn’s first taste on the catwalk was at The Berkeley Institute for the graduation class of 2007.
The 5”10 model now is signed with AMP Model Management in New York City. The StyleBermuda photoshoot was shot by Christopher Starbody and styled by Martha Violante and Shiona Turini, and can be viewed here.
StyleBermuda has kept an eye on Ms Lightbourn’s rising star ever since the then-unknown teen turned up for a modelling contest held 2009.
“When Lillian Lightbourn walked into the casting room at Newstead Belmont Hills for Style Bermuda’s VIBE Magazine model competition, the energy in the room instantly changed. We ALL knew that someone special had just graced our presence,” reported the Bermudian lifestyle, leisure and cultural website at the time.
“At only 19 years old, Lillian’s eyes alone can light up a room. 5”10 slender and statuesque, she has the natural grace and perfect build for a model.
Now she has started to realise her long-held dream of modelling internationally, StyleBermuda suggests it’s only a matter of time before Ms Lightbourn begins to turn heads on the international catwalk circuit just as she did in Bermuda.
“I love modelling and my being here is the first step in a long journey to get to where I want to be in the industry – a super model,” Ms Lightbourn told StyleBermuda. “I love New York. I am so grateful to my agency — they have helped me every day. To my family for constantly loving and supporting me, I love them very much for that.
“And I’m grateful for all the new friends I’ve made. Actually, I’m just grateful to be in the Big Apple every day — good or bad.”

Fashion models are not supposed to smile the attention is on what they are modeling.
I must be getting old…. don’t understand that ‘attitude’ look for the cameras. Whats with that funky bouncing walk that they do?
but my attention is drawn to the fact that they are so unhappy looking – like not happy in their outfit lol.
