Somerset Trojans Win PDL Christmas Champs

January 1, 2011

Today [Jan 1] at the Somerset Cricket Club, Somerset Trojans won the inaugural Premier Development League [PDL] Championship, after beating Devonshire Colts 3-1. Devonshire Colts found themselves playing with only nine men for the entire game, as they only had six players under the age of 23 in their squad for the day, and the rules only allowed for 3 players over 23 on the field at one time.
