U/19 Football Team Lose 2-1 to Curacao

bermuda football association logo This evening [Jan 21] the Bermuda National u/20 football team went down 2-1 to Curacao, with Bermuda`s goal coming courtesy of Troy Tucker.

In the 27th minute Bermuda escaped a penalty when a Curacao defender went down in the box, however the referee waived the play on, but two minutes later Bermuda went down 1-0 when a shot from the edge of the box beat goalkeeper Tahj Bell to his right.

Bermuda equalized early in the second half when Troy Tucker found the back of the net, however in the 90th minute Curacao scored to take a 2-1 lead.

Bermuda starting lineup: Tahj Bell, Anthony Hunter, Reiko Trott, Roger Lee, Jaylon Bather, Casey Castle, Jamel Swan, Troy Tucker, Reggie Lambe, Quadir Maynard, Dante Leverock

Bermuda won their first match 3-0, defeating Guyana this past Wednesday courtesy of goals from Dante Leverock, Dante Albouy and Troy Tucker.

      Sorry no, none……….really wish we could but the games are being played down in Suriname, and if truth be told we have exactly zero contacts in that country…
