  1. Hmmmmm says:

Sir Richard Gozney, Governor of Bermuda
Mr. Jeremy Cox, CEO of the Bermuda Monetary Authority
Mr. Greg Wojciechowski, CEO of the Bermuda Stock Exchange
Cheryl Packwood, CEO of Business Bermuda

Huh? When did the Governor become an expert on a) Bermuda b) the economy and c) financial services? Resetting the dial must mean “Rule Britannia” returns.

    • Disgusted says:

Do you think he was appointed Governor because of his good looks? I could ask the same question about our Premier given the state of our economy at her helm, but I won’t.

    • just fishin' says:

@Hmmmmmm….You really do need to get out more often, do a bit of travelling. Read and watch foreign news and current events….and US news and current events is not enough, broaden your horizons. Find out how things work in the outside world.

  2. Bottom Line says:

I’m pleased to see that Cheryl Packwood got the hell out of the Middle East in one piece!

  3. Chris says:

I agree with “Disgusted” about “Hmmm”‘s comments. We should be thanking our lucky stripes that we aren’t independent as we would be in a lot more trouble financially and socially.

BTW – the governor has travelled the world, is well connected and is very knowledgeable about current events and economics but of course “Disgusted” would have to have a conversation with him first to realise this…
