He flew with Cascade to Montreal to compete in the Canadian Age Group Championships on July 25th.

The meet started slow for him with a disappointing time in the 100m fly.

However, things improved on the second day with the 100m free where he made a personal best (PB) time by over 1 second.

On the third day he swam a strong 200m fly, just shy of his best time set at CARIFTA this year. Day four was the 200m free and he made a good PB in this event.

Day 5 was the highlight of the meet. In the 50m fly he swam 26.77, beating the time he set in qualifying for Junior Worlds by almost 4 tenths of a second, which he did in Puerto Rico one month ago.

He has now been back in Bermuda since August 3rd and is preparing to go to Lima, Peru on Saturday August 13th for Junior Worlds.
