Lt Col Burch Serves Tea To Seniors

November 28, 2011

Yesterday afternoon [Nov.27], former Government Minister Lt. Col. David Burch served tea to the senior citizens at the Lorraine Rest Home in Warwick.

In October 12th, Lt. Col Burch was selected the PLP candidate for Constituency #27 Warwick North Central, with George Scott, former Senator Cromwell Shakir and Ianthia Wade challenging for the position.

That was the second time Lt. Col. Burch put his name forward in a candidate selection meeting, after losing to Minister Zane Desilva in Constituency #29 Southampton East last month.

The former Regiment Commanding Officer has previously stood for the PLP, losing to the UBP in Smiths on two occasions. He was later appointed to the Senate and Cabinet, which he resigned from earlier this year.
