Photos: 2011 Premier’s Tree Lighting
The Cabinet Grounds on Front Street were filled with holiday spirit on Saturday night [Dec.3], when Premier Paula Cox hosted the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Children joined the Premier in decorating the Christmas trees with festuve balls, bows and candy canes while the Steel Pan Group provided music.
After the Premier addressed the crowd and the tree lights were turned on, performers including saxophonist Shine Hayward, violinist Latannia Ellerbe, the Precious Melodies Youth Male Choir, and the “Cabinet Office Choir” entertained those gathered.
