Audio: Choppa Dunks Scores In Boston

Bermuda musician Harry Dunkley — who was performing in the popular local act Secret Po-Po while still a school boy — is heating up Beantown now as one of Boston’s favourite DJs.

Now going by the stage name DJ Choppa Dunks, he played in the reggae band Secret Po-Po for many years before moving to the US in 2008.

While living in New York City, he turned to DJ-ing and when he moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music he took his newfound skills with him.

He has spun discs all over New England and last year he released his first EP of electronic music titled “Check My Steelo” which garnered rave reviews from Boston’s club-goers and music media.

To add to his already busy schedule, he is now also the DJ for Crossover Kidz, a Boston hip-hop group.
