Hopefully this new governor will have guts cuz Sir Richard is on a “chill pill” he ain’t done nothin but pick up a pay cheque!

  2. Triangle Drifter says:

Any info on what type of person he is? Specifically, does he get involved & do the job or is he another seat warmer? We could use a doer right now.

    • PEPPER says:

I will gurantee you that the new governor will also be a seat warmer, they all are.

  3. True Bermudian says:

“Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.”

    • Mike says:

Sadly, I suspect you are right, although there is little the Governor can do with “unethical” as distinct from “illegal”.

  4. good governor says:

@cancer – this governor is one of the most intuned with people of the soil and don’t bow to money people, we have had in a long long time. check his record. he’s not the elitist you all ubp/oba can control and this is why you write such nonsense.

  5. Jim Bean says:

Hey good governor – funny you as a plp supporter defend a governor. If they dare do their job and go after the plp thieves you would call him racist. I wish for a black governor who is a doer like the auditor heather – then when the catch the plp out they cant say “racists”

    • specialgirl4you says:

Are you sure Auditor General is real doer? You do not know her, and your not sure of her motive either. So do not get happy if you are not totally sure.

  6. soon_gone says:

    Dear Mr.Fergusson
Please take note of a recent poll conducted in Bermuda by The Royal Gazette:
In the light of the Auditor General’s report on the alleged misuse of public funds, should the Governor now step in?
    Yes
    84%
    No
    12%
    Don’t Know
    4%
    Total Votes: 953

    • specialgirl4you says:

RG is not a scientific poll. Lacks reliably and validity……but keep crying…..your wish will not come true.

      • Rick Rock says:

Wow Betty. Any mention of support for the Auditor General and you jump right in. Worried about what she might find?

    Bernews in censoring my posts.

  8. Cancer says:

How come now he auditor generals motives are being questioned? She was someone that was hand picked by the flip flop PLP government I mean goverment! Now that she’s given a report that slams the flip flop party her motives are being challenged. You have blind loyalists questioning her work ethics because she hasn’t bowed down to the flip flop PLP. FYI Ms Jocobs is a person with very high standards and work ethics. She was picked by the PLP because of her honesty and ability to get the job done. I guess you thought she was gonna bow down and make it easy. You guys are a real joke – such jokers! You can’t have it both ways guys and Ms Jacobs is not for sale! Poor PLP – still don’t have a damm clue. Everyone else is at fault beside them! Rediculous! Get over it specialgirl!

    • Hmmmmm says:

Ignorance like yours should be outlawed. The Auditor General is appointed by the Governor. Period. Full stop. End of story.
