Premier/Ministers To Host Town Hall

On Thursday March 15, the Premier and Minister of Finance Paula Cox will host a Town Hall meeting to discuss the 2012/13 National Budget. The meeting will take place at the Port Royal Primary School in Southampton at 7.30 p.m.

A statement issued said, “The public will be aware that Premier Cox tabled the National Budget on February 24. The 2012/13 Budget outlines the Government’s fiscal focus for the upcoming year and over the past week several Ministries have been debated in the House of Assembly.

“Residents are encouraged to attend this Thursday’s meeting, as it will be an opportunity to hear firsthand from the Premier and Cabinet Ministers about what Budget 2012/13 entails and what it means for them.”

On Thursday, the Premier will be joined by  Attorney General and Minister of Justice Kim Wilson,  Minister of Health Zane De Silva and Minister of Government Estates and Information Services Michael Scott. The final town hall meeting will be held on March 27, at the Victor Scott Primary School.

    This is another excellent opportunity to hear first hand from our government leaders. I trust that everyone in the surrounding area will attend and be better informed about our national budget.

      “Better informed about our national budget” – please explain as Paula Cox is a mere figurehead trying to show a unified PLP. The PLP has taken Bermuda down the road of no return in less than 5 years, just as planned by the elite few. Come the election she will follow Jennifer Cox as a has been into oblivion.
