Severe Weather Warning Issued For Afternoon
The Bermuda Weather Service has issued a Severe Weather Warning for this afternoon [June 17],and also warned of “possible squalls and funnel clouds.” In addition to the Severe Weather Warning, a Thunderstorm Advisory and Small Craft Warning are also in effect.
The forecast for today says, “Possible squalls and funnel clouds this afternoon will accompany passage of a low pressure center near Bermuda. Occasional showers and a chance of thunder will also accompany the low as it passes by this evening. Improvement will ensue behind the low as high pressure builds from the northwest.”
