July 5, 2012

Scores of locals and visitors crowded Front Street last night [July 4] attending Harbour Nights and celebrating the 4th of July. Evolution Fashion Show models gave attendees a sneak peek of the upcoming fashion extravaganza which will be held on Saturday July 7, starting at 7:30pm in front of City Hall.

Hair and makeup designs were highlighted at the Harbour Nights event, with some of Bermuda’s talented hair and makeup artists had their works of art on display.

The audience was treated to styles with an American theme, with the July 4th date in mind. Completing the show was a body art competition featuring four different body art companies. Local entertainerment and a hot dog eating competition were included in the evening’s line-up with the night, which came to an end with a laser light and fireworks display.

Alright Lynnell! I see you hot mama! :)

It was a great Harbour Nights, but I have one negative comments. Why does Power Girl always try to be the center of attention. Sometimes too much is just too much

    • Bermywan says:

      You’re an idiot

    • Mom's Gingerbread says:

Rags I have to agree with you, we were there too and my girlfriends made the same comments about her always trying to be in the spotlight. No matter what event she is hosting or attending she is always “look at me I’m better than everyone else.
Bermywan, why does this person have to be an idiot, because he/she voiced their opinion. Last I heard its a free world and we are all entitled to “our” opinion as you are yours.

    Look at Lynnell!! Get em!!!

  5. lol says:

    These aren’t models.

  6. Concerned Bermudian says:

If I was an American visitor this night.. I would have been pretty offended lol As “lol” says – these are not models – Everyone looks so miserable – not fierce!

    • WOLF says:

It’s a total joke. There’s only about 3 people in this fashion show with potential, and two of them aren’t even in this collection of photos.

At last something interesting was going on at Harbour Nights! I thought was pretty fun and a ton of people were out. I love everyone’s expert opinions too hahaha. Did you all really think a future Kate Moss was going to be modeling at Harbour Nights in Bermuda?? It was a hair and body paint show and it’s ok for anyone to participate in that. I’m more ‘concerned’ about the use of tired catch phrases from America’s Next Top Model. THAT is what’s offensive.

0.1 i agree! My little cousin was asked because of her features and hair. She is not a model but wanted to try something different. I am glad her time was spent doing this and not other things!
