Great work! I hope you/customs can fine more and also stop more guns from getting into the island.

    • US Observer in Pink Sand says:

      Customs? Guns don’t have legs.

      • Douglas says:

Its Customs department’s responsibility to stop illegal merchandise from entering our country!

        Great job BPS!

  2. mixitup says:

    1 down. 100+ to go!

  3. Dante's Inferno says:

So they can’t specify how many were fake/real?

It sounds a lot better to just say 10, I get it..

    • Terry says:

When someone shoves a gun in your face you have no clue if it is real or not. Your point?
10 have been recovered; some real some fake.
      Piss off.

      • Dante's Inferno says:

You missed my point Terry. Its one thing to say “…10 real and or imitation firearms have been recovered..”

But thanks for pointing it out, if a fake gun is shoved in my face there’s 0 chance of it shooting and killing me.

Which ones are more important now?

Hows that p#ss in your mouth taste?

        • Terry says:

Your talking garbage unless your the one holding.
          Read what I wrote fool.
          Fake guns don’t kill a$%hole.
          “Which one is important now”.

          You already answered that.

The “P#ss” in my face is great. I just wash it off.

Take the bullett from any cavity in your body or walk away sh%$ting yourself because you thought it was real.

          Were Fu%$.

          • Judge Dredd says:

Wow, why worry about gunmen when you guys are shooting each other in the mouth and face with pee? Do you need your “weapons” confiscated as well? Sheesh Chill out.

        • Wheerzs Waldo? says:

Dante… I believe the point he was trying to make is if you have a gun pointed at your head or in your face and you don’t know if it is real or fake the long term effect on you mentally is the same! Most people that never become the victim of a crime believe the effects of the crime are forgot and there are no scars. Not true. Ask anyone that has ever had their home broken into while they were at work. Many feel violated and can’t sleep in their own homes for weeks, months and in some cases years.

We all realize that a real gun shoots bullets and a fake one does not.

I hope that you or no person in your family ever finds out what he means.

          • Dante's Inferno says:

Thankfully i pray to Jesus. So anything bad happening to me is impossible.

  4. US Observer in Pink Sand says:

Does anyone have any inclination as to how the guns arrived into the island? Just curious…

    • Boom Bye Bye says, 'me no deh pon dat" says:

this is a dumb question…. if we did then there wouldn’t be any guns here. duh

    • ABM says:

      No question is dumb.

    • Micro says:

Same way the drugs get here, visiting yachts/ships, meet a boat offshore/collect “package” that’s been dropped in the water… pretty easy actually given all the holes in border security. Throw in corrupt “officials” at ports of entry, customs, shipping companies etc. Hide stuff in vehicles, machinery…

      • dthtoo/ says:

Micro, you nailed it. I’ve said the same thing for years.

    • Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

Yeah we know …we see it on every mass media programming…We all know who this world is run by, right ..? We have a tendency to overlook what is right in front of us…the most obvious…becomes the most oblivious. The Untouchables…

    • Bermuda Girl says:

On the shipping vessels. That is my best guess. Just like most of the drugs. Those vessels come in and out all day every day.

  5. M.P.Mountbatten JP says:

    Round-um-up ‘n’ move-em-out !!

  6. 4 f$% %^$# lol says:

Dumb f^&% stay in ya f%^$ lane or ——-

  7. Obvious says:

there are numerous ways to get guns, amo etc into bda.

    1) container – as of today customs have still not installed the xray machine.

    2) private yachts – NO boats arriving into bermuda are checked for drugs/weapons only if they have been flagged or nor do they have walk troughs with bda police canine unit.

    3) [----Edited, sorry! ----]

    and bullets are easier

    • Bernews says:

Apologies for the edit as its obvious the comment was in good faith. The first two are blatantly obvious but the third maybe some had not considered…so we are just being over paranoid as we don’t want to give any less than intelligent criminals any ideas or be accused of anything. Better safe than sorry.

      • Obvious says:

Bernews, Sorry, never thought of that. I work in the security field and know this is being done.

        • Bernews says:

          No problem, thanks for understanding…

        • Douglas says:

Have you voiced your concerns to the Police/Customs? If not, perhaps you should as soon as you can! It might save a life mate.

    • Judge Dredd says:

Your examples leave out the most important one…….the possible participation of corrupt individuals employed at our ports or law enforcement.

      • Truth is killin' me... says:

H.M. Customs corrupt…NOOOOO WAAAAAY! Mind you one of them did get off a big supreme court drug trial a few months back so there have got to be a few more rotten apples stinking up the barrel! Give me a few grand and I’ll look the other way…wink, wink, nod, nod.

  8. onelove says:

    4 f$% %^$#lol
was probably your gun they find or someones gun you know to be talking like that
honestly all these fools need to be locked up or shipped to another island and let them all fight against eachother with their fists no weapons

  9. Richard says:

once again it should not be so hard to have an idea of some of the people on the police force and custom that may be involved look at some of these people houses cars audit them yes it take time but what else do you have to do

  10. Not Again! says:

Another one bites the dust!! Now lets see if the person that had the gun is given a jail sentence or a slap on the wrist.

    • Uncle BOB says:

if Archie Bunka Warner is the judge, he will only give the person a 5 year sentence to run concurrent with another 2 for handling the gun…only in Bermy I tell you…smh

  11. Terry says:

    Bob’s your uncle.
You have no clue how things are done in the judiciary.

Archie is a pain in the a#s but the law dictates limits.

He can’t hear a Murder. He sends it to the Supreme Court. Inditacable.

Get rael guys. Have rum or something.

  12. Whatever says:

Fear not the guns but the crazy people that have them. The crazy people are the ones that kill. The gun is only the tool the they choose to use.

  13. Terry says:

    Good points Bernews.
We know how they get in here.
Just a matter of being a prick and save lives.
Too bad the police don’t listen because they think your syco.

  14. how says:

    It all sounds good!!!!

  15. Get rit of —- she’s …..guns in bermy.see it all backfire from letting ya cuz bring them threw now were is he stupid bit€h that was my homie
