White Mountains To Acquire American Fuji
White Mountains Solutions Holding Company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire American Fuji Fire and Marine Insurance Company, a small runoff subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. [AIG].
The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of 2013 subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval from the Illinois Department of Insurance.
White Mountains Solutions Holding Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd.a nd the group’s specialist runoff acquisition operation. White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. is a Bermuda-domiciled financial services holding company traded on the New York Stock Exchange and the Bermuda Stock Exchange under the symbol WTM.
