Cruise Crew Members Deny Sexual Assault

At the monthly Supreme Court Arraignments, two Italian nationals [aged 26 and 27], crew members off the Bermuda Registered cruise ship MV Grand Princess, pleaded not guilty to two charges of serious sexual assault on a woman alleged to have occurred on 12th January 2013.

Both men are on bail and had their trial set for 22nd April 2013. Both men are represented by lawyer Marc Daniels and the Honorary Consul for Italy has arranged their continued enforced stay in Bermuda. The matter must be dealt with in Bermuda under Bermuda law because the ship is registered here.
