Second Bombing Suspect Captured In Boston
[Updated] A manhunt for the marathon bombing suspect is underway today [Apr 19] in the city of Boston with residents advised to stay inside, and the city’s subway, bus, train and taxi services suspended while schools have been closed.
Boston police have shot dead one of the marathon bombing suspects, who is being identified as 26-year-old Russian national Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The suspect still being sought is his 19-year-old brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The violence began late last night with the robbery of a 7/11 convenience store and then the fatal shooting of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer. Police believe the bombing suspects were responsible for the officer’s murder. In addition, transit police officer Richard Donohue, 33, has been shot and wounded.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration closed airspace over a 7-mile-wide stretch of the northwest Boston area, which applies to all aircraft flying below 3,000 feet. As of this time, the Bermuda to Boston flight scheduled for this afternoon is still showing as scheduled, however this is clearly a developing situation and things may be liable to change.

Update 2.27pm: A Bermudian who lives in Boston has described the streets as “ghost town” with helicopters hovering in the sky.
Jamie lives in Back Bay, very close to where the two bombs went off at the marathon, and arrived back in Boston yesterday evening from New York, where he found a very strong police presence everywhere.
He said he heard a loud boom through the night, which was apparently from one of the grenades from the car chase. He said as it very quiet out [minus sirens] so sound was able to travel quite far.
He stayed up most the night watching the news coverage and checking Twitter for updates, and went to bed at around 4am, however was woken up around 7am from so many people calling and texting. He said he had no food in the apartment, and went out briefly early this morning and found very people out on the streets.
Update 7.30pm: An advisory to stay indoors has been lifted, and the MBTA will resume service, Gov. Deval Patrick said.
Update 10.30pm: Dzhokar Tsarnaev, suspect in bombing investigation, has been captured.
One is dead. The other will be dead or caught by the end of the day. If MA has capital punishment, either way he will also be dead.

Very true statement. This is why I ask people, how do you think the innocent families that have lost family to drone attacks feel about America. I believe because they hardly see, or hear about it, some how does not carry the same weight.

Who is defendng him ham? How many people on this site alone jump to conclusions and judge people before they get to court? How many others say innocent until proven guilty? If he goes to court and is found guilty then lock him up in a Boston prison and see what happens. If they shoot him dead like his brother the world will never know and the authorities can say what they like. I feel for the people and the families affected by this but I wont be blinded by emotion. I’ve kept a close eye on thissince the start and I haven’t found one picture from that day with either suspect in it. Why was there private military forces standing at the first bomb site? Why did they leave moments before the blast? Why did they run from a situaton they are trained for? They are former marines that have spent numerous tours in Iraq dealing with IED’s on a daily basis. It’s rather convenient to blame Islamic extremists. I suppose Osama knocked down the towers too.

Do you feel for the parents of innocent children that were killed in Iraq? How about Pakistan? From the comments on here, I get the feeling that this bombing is some how different because it took place in America. I feel for people all over the world who lose their children to this type of tragedy.
On another note, let’s think about it. Has justice been served for the 10,000′s of innocent iraq men, woman & children that America killed under false information? The point that I am making is not to make people feel the bombing in Boston was not a tragedy because it was, by all accounts. So many negative comments and not one of passion for all the people in Boston that dealt with this, the bomber is now caught, and not gunned down like you thought he would be, Hopefully he will give the information needed and be locked away forever. They’re going to pin this event on a male late teens to early 20s and say he did it because he’s unstable. They are going to find firearms d a NRA book in his home. They are going to say he used reloading powder for the explosion and that reloading powder shouldn’t be for sale to the public. They are then going to say that because the powder in ammunition be used for explosions that the number of rounds you can buy should be limited and taxed to help pay for these events.
I can’t do anything or I’ll lose my job and possibly face criminals charges. Please don’t let them get away with it. They won’t find the suspect till later this week and the raid is issued to occur on Friday. This was a staged event. The people hurt are real but the event was planned. Don’t let them hurt our rights.
