A Ministry of Home Affairs spokesperson said, “The Department of Immigration will however continue to receive passport applications for processing and will make every attempt to issue the documents in accordance with its eight working day turnaround time.

  1. So will the passports that are in for renewal etc. be processed right away wihout the extra rush fee? Is there only one machine. This is such an inconvenience to travellers to change their flights and pay the fee to change their tickets.

And before folk get smart some folk may have been gifted a trip and had to renew their passport to take the trip. Eiher way need more han one machine.
