Man Charged: Sex Assault While Holding Knife
A 34-year-old man — who cannot be named for legal reasons — appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [July 3] charged with sexual assault whilst possessing a knife, unlawfully depriving the victim of her liberty and unlawfully wounding a person while in an increased penalty zone. The incident was alleged to have occurred on July 1st by Warwick Long Bay. The defendant, who did not have to enter a plea as the matter can only be heard in the Supreme Court, was remanded in custody.

These cases really make me laugh, cannot be named for legal reasons? So who are you protecting….him? So when he eyes up his next alleged victim, no one has a clue who he is. Shouldn’t you be protecting us?
the person is still innocent. We don’t know the details so there is no point tarnishing someone’s name if it turns out they collared the wrong person.
