37-Yr-Old Jailed For Two Years After Assault
A 37 year old man who pleaded guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend appeared in Magistrates Court this morning [Dec 9] where he was sentenced to two years in prison.
When Tio Weeks was given the opportunity to address the Magistrate, Weeks told Senior Magistrate Archie Warner: “Mr Warner, you just do what you gotta’ do.”
The Senior Magistrate’s response was to sentence Weeks to two years in prison on a charge, to which Weeks had pleaded guilty, of unlawfully assaulting his estranged girlfriend in Warwick on 7th December 2013.
Crown Prosecutor Maria Sofianos told the Senior Magistrate that on 7th December 2013, Weeks had accosted his ex-girlfriend and ended up assaulting her by holding her head in a headlock and punching her with his fist. This resulted in the woman requiring medical treatment at KEMH.
Ms Sofianos also told the Magistrate that during the assault, Weeks had told the woman: “I’m going to kill you. The police can’t keep me forever. When I get out of jail I’m going to kill you.” The woman had gotten away and police were called.
Ms Sofianos informed the Senior Magistrate that Weeks was already on Probation for other offences; that his criminal record stretched back some ten years; and that he had already been incarcerated multiple times.

Be prepared to take him out if he so much as graces your doorstep in two years on release. Move from where you live now and if he comes looking for you, ,you know that he meant business so you have to be prepared. Bermuda ain’t but so big so just be prepared.
What restraining order? Do you really think that the BPS has the men power to be there to catch this guy if he wants to get to this woman? She just needs to stay vigilant and be prepared for his dumb criminal arse.
