January 10, 2014

Bermudian footballers Antwan Russell and Lejaun Simmons have moved from Ilkeston Football Club to Mickleover Sports Football Club on one months loan.

Mickleover is based in the Mickleover suburb of Derby in England. They are members of the Northern Premier League Division One South.

The Derby Telegraph reported, “Antwan Russell, the Bermuda international striker who joined Ilkeston earlier this year, has moved to Mickleover Sports and will be available for tomorrow’s home fixture with Brigg Town.

“Russell’s team-mate at the New Manor Ground, Lejaun Simmons, has also joined Sports on a month’s loan.

“The pair will go straight into the squad for the visit of Brigg, alongside New Year’s Eve signings Henry Sibenge, a pacy winger from Eastwood Town, and Romain Graham, a long-term target of Mickleover managers Glenn Kirkwood and Craig Hopkins.
