Dr. Freddie Evans To Officiate At Carifta Games

Dr. Freddie Evans has been selected as one of the technical officials for the 2014 Carifta Games in Martinique by the Technical Delegate. Dr Evans will lead the team of officials for the throwing events.

BNNA President Donna Watson said, “As you know our athletes are making their mark on the track in the Caribbean. I have been selected as the Organizational Delegate for the NACAC U23.

“We received correspondence that Dr. Freddie Evans has been selected as one of the Technical officials for the Carifta Games in Martinique by the Technical Delegate. Dr. Evans will lead the team of officials for the throwing events.

“Dr. Evans became a certified official for the Carifta Games which were held in Bermuda when we certified several of our local officials. He was the Head Track& Field official at the Natwest Island Games last year and continues to officiate and lead our officials at our local track meets. Dr. Evans is also our General Secretary on the BNAA Board of Directors.

“We are very excited about this and know that Dr. Evans will represent us very well.”
