Weekend: Single Lane Traffic on Point Finger Rd
Road works in connection with the construction of the new Acute Care Wing will see a section of Point Finger Road confined to single lane traffic this weekend.
A spokesperson said, “On Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting, D&J Construction on behalf of BCM McAlpine Ltd will be carrying out trenching work for a road crossing to the BELCO pole to the north of Astwood Road junction.
“The road will be excavated in two halves to allow single lane traffic to be maintained at all times. During this work temporary traffic controls will be in place. Work will be completed over the weekend to allow the traffic restrictions to be removed Sunday evening.
“Paget Health Services apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause”
