Women’s Football: Bermuda Ties With Cayman
The Bermuda women’s national team continues to compete in the Caribbean Cup in the Turks and Caicos, taking on the Cayman Islands today [May 25] in their second game of the Cup.
The team started out with a strong showing in their first game, romping to a 5-0 victory over the hosts with two goals from Shauntae Todd and Cheyra Bell, while Aaliyah Nolan added the remaining goal.
Bermuda starting line up for today’s match is Jaeda Smith, KShalea Burch Waldron, Teara Thomas, Ebonie Burgess, Marley Christian, Jenay Edness, Cheyra Bell, Dominque Richardson, Aaliyah Nolan, Eva Frazzoni, and Shauntae Todd.
Update 6.67pm: In the 34th minute, Bermuda took a 1-0 lead courtesy of a strike from Shauntae Todd. The game is still underway and we will update as able.
Update 7.44pm: Bermuda made it 2-0, with Cheyra Bell scoring in the 54th minute, however Cayman pulled even, scoring two goals themselves. At last check the score was 2-2
Update 8.04pm: The game has ended 2-2
