Wow. Nothing we don’t see every single day though. Parents – do you really know what your kids do on their bikes?

  2. Kangoocar says:

I am waiting for the bleeding heart liberals to defend this one??

    • Mike Hind says:

      Defend what?

I don’t understand this post. What does someone’s political leanings have to do with this?

      • terry says:

Because someone said “bleeding heart liberals” you have to go on the defensive?

Ask them why they made the comment instead of condemning the.

        Get real Mr. Hind.

  4. Legal beagle says:

….waiting for the comments from the brainiacs questioning who was at fault and chastising people for blaming the rider…. Pretty clear now isn’t it?

    • inna says:

this was a planned race as well..

how else on earth would someone know 4-5 bikes are coming through that intersection at that time, and have their camera pointed in the right direction.

      • De Kid says:

I saw these guys a couple minutes before this collision happened. They were racing because it started from Raynors gas station. One of them almost ran into the back of my car as i was turning into the gas station.

        • D says:

NO you didn’t! Stop trying to add to an already bad situation. I live in the area and have heard about these guys racing before. Strange how you saw them by Raynor’s Gas Station but they always seem to start by Spice Valley Middle School.

I just don’t understand why the police haven’t tried to put an end to it before this. Surely they’ve been contacted about the matter before.

Nonetheless praying for a all involved!

          • De Kid says:

How you going to tell me what i saw. I’m just trying to say that it is irresponsible of them to be pack racing, that’s all. Praying for both parties and their family.

  5. Evelyn says:

The rider can not be blamed in this. What person in their right mind would stand in the road when he sees 5-6 bikes coming at him at almost 90mph?!

    • seriously says:

the rider can’t be blamed? Are you kidding me? Pretty sure HE was driving. Being a stupid bystander does not force someone else to drive fast. get real.

  6. Benjammin says:

    Idiots.

    • Legal beagle says:

Ben, that is disrespectful to idiots.

  7. Miguelito says:

    Clear as mud.

  8. WTH says:

Don’t people have anything better to do with their lives, instead of endangering themselves and/or others?
That’s gonna be a nice vehicle insurance bill.

  9. local says:

Honestly everybody and I hope I don’t hurt anybody’s feelings n racing is illegal and dangerous but it might be killing idiots but at least u don’t see no @$$ with a gun wen its only so much things u have to do in Bermuda u gotta find something that interest u that ain’t gang related simple as da and not all people can afford to take it to the track so use a free road

  10. Smh says:

Listen people this is nothing new. There have always been organized races on island since the days of Mobey Lette’s, Cyrus, triumps and Lembretta’s.. Then as time pastes it moved to v50- 80′s. And it’s still going on. Everyone knows the consequences of racing on the street we see people getting hurt and dying all the time on the roads. But the thought is it’s not going to happen to me until it does. All we can do is talk to your children and adults that ride and make sure that are riding responsibly.
