Saturday “Netball Fever” Launched By BNA
The Bermuda Netball Association [BNA] recently launched an event called “Netball Fever” for primary school aged girls 8-11.
This new initiative, focuses on skills, drills and games to improve game play over a four week period. Its been running for the past two Saturdays 1-3pm at Bernards Park.
A spokesperson said, “It has become a real big hit among the schools. Our numbers doubled for the second week. And the girls want to bring more friends with them for this Saturday!
“For a one time fee of $10 your daughter can enjoy the last two sessions [Oct 11 & 18th]. No prior registration needed.
“We want to encourage parents to take advantage of the opportunity and let their girls explore netball, have fun, and meet new friends.”
The junior league is due to start on November 8th, so parents can also meet the local netball club and team coaches at Netball Fever and sign them up for junior league as well.
