Collision: One Man Injured, Two Males Arrested
[Updated with video] One person has been injured following a motorcycle collision on Parson’s Road in Pembroke at approximately 7.45pm this evening [Dec 31].
Both the Police and Fire Service attended the scene, and at least one person was taken away via ambulance. Further details are limited at this time, however we will update if able.
Update 9.22pm: Mica Murray from the Police Media Relations Department said that this collision involved two motorcycles, and resulted in a 53 year old man receiving “serious” injuries, and two males being arrested.
Update 10.46pm: A police spokesperson said, “At approximately 7:45pm police responded to a report of a two vehicle collision that took place on Parsons Road in Pembroke near the junction with Glebe Road.
“Details are limited at this time, but it appear that two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided resulting in a 53 year old man being taken to KEMH via ambulance with serious injuries. Two persons were also arrested at the scene and are assisting police.
“Police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision, and they are asked to contact PC Colin Paynter on 247-1335.”
Update Jan 1: Police amended the injured man’s age to 62
Update Jan 1: The police have now confirmed the death of 62 year old Timothy Wright of Warwick
