Bermuda Triple Challenge Registration Begins

January 9, 2015

The Bermuda Triple Challenge, Bermuda’s only obstacle challenge weekend series, has officially opened its registration, not only to Bermuda, but the world.

Targeting international participation as Bermuda’s newest sports tourism event, some of the first to confirm their participation are three internationally renowned professional obstacle course racing athletes; Spartan Race sponsored husband and wife team Matt and Tiffanie Novakovich from Anchorage, Alaska and 2011 female World’s Toughest Mudder champion, Juliana Sproles.

Dr. Reid Robinson, Co-Founder of the Bermuda Triple Challenge said, “The weekend aims to inspire teamwork and functional movement with friends, colleagues and family while raising funds for Bermuda’s youth based charities that help marshal the events. It’s a win-win!

“Many Bermudian charities are struggling and including more adventure seekers from outside Bermuda will help increase efforts to raise money for our local charities.”

The Bermuda Triple Challenge’s unique scoring system incentivizes all participants to raise funds for the Bermuda Triple Challenge charitable partners, which are; The Sunshine League, Knowledge Quest, Raleigh International, The New Beginnings Education Trust, Somerset Primary PTA and Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Teams of two or four will run, jump, crawl and climb their way to record a finishing time, but teams can supplement their physical prowess with their fund raising power. Every dollar of every fund raised will aid competitors and boost their points total as teams compete for the $1,000 cash prize.
