Warwick Academy Welcomes Level 3 Coach

Warwick Academy said they were “thrilled” to welcome a Level 3 badminton coach Rebecca Pantaney to coach their students saying they were  fortunate to have a coach of this caliber come and share their knowledge.


Rebecca Pantaney was part of a winning gold medal team at the 1998 Commonwealth Games and is currently a Level 3 qualified badminton coach.

She played at Englands junior level and senior level competing at Europeans, Worlds and Commonwealth Games in 1998 winning Team Ladies Gold, and has 16 England senior caps.


She has also worked with the England U17 and U19 squads and also worked with the Falkland Islands for 7 years developing the younger players coming through the club and talent identification.

“We are very grateful to Mr Harold Minors and the Bermuda Badminton Association for the opportunity,” Warwick Academy added.
