Consul General Invites U.S. Citizens To Meeting

April 30, 2015

U.S. Consul General Bob Settje will hold a town hall meeting for American citizens at his official residence, Cedarhurst, 33 Wilkinson Avenue, Hamilton Parish, on Thursday, May 14, 2015, from 5:30-7:30 PM.

“For space reasons, attendance will be limited to the first 120 American citizens age 18 and over who register online at the U.S. Consulate website [link here] so the Consulate recommends that those interested register as soon as possible,” a spokesperson said.

“To ensure the presence of as many Americans as possible within the limited space, the Consulate has limited attendance to Americans only and is, therefore, unable to accommodate non-American family members.

“The first 120 registrants will receive notice that a space has been reserved for them. They will be asked to confirm their attendance several days prior to the meeting. Registrants not among the first 120 will be put on a wait list and notified should a space become available. To gain admittance to the town hall meeting, each attendee must present his/her American passport.

“The town hall will provide an opportunity for Americans to learn about the Consulate’s mission and services in Bermuda and to ask questions about topics of interest to participants. Consul General Settje looks forward to welcoming Americans to his home.”
