Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Collision

unnamed (1)dddgfffThe police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision that claimed the life of 16 year old Arai Joell-Johnston late Tuesday evening [Mar 31], specifically appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of the motor car which was travelling east along Harbour Road in Paget at around 11pm.

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is still appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision of 16 year old Arai Joell-Johnston of Paget.

“Arai was seriously injured when the auxiliary cycle he was riding collided with a car around 11:10pm Tuesday, March 31st on Harbour Road in Paget just 50 meters west of Chapel Road. He was subsequently pronounced dead at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital at 11:52pm Tuesday.

“Police are specifically appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of the motor car which was travelling east along Harbour Road, Paget by Newstead Hotel within close proximity of the oncoming motor car and motor cyclist at the time of the collision around 11pm.
