ESC Limited Hires Five Young Bermudians

May 13, 2015

ESC Limited has hired five young Bermudians over the past two years, including three in the last six months, with the company saying all of the new employees “excelling in their respective positions.”

A spokesperson said, “For many years, ESC Limited managed with 10 employees, but as the company grew, the need for employees did too. With so many talented young Bermudians looking for work, it wasn’t hard to find the right fit for their company. With three new sales staff and two new warehouse staff, the company is excited for the future.”

The new team members, who are all under the age of 27, are “excelling in their respective positions” according to Lindsay Davis, General Manager at ESC Limited.”

Ms. Davis said, “We are truly thrilled with the young staff we have at ESC. Each one of them, and our veteran staff too, resemble what every employer looks for in an employee; they are reliable, hard-working, smart, honest and all around team players. We couldn’t be happier.”

“We’ve had many of our staff members for so many years that the thought of adding new team members was daunting, but after we hired the first few, we realized there are so many good young people looking for work, they made it easy and they’ve not only fit in with existing employees, they’ve added fresh new ideas and fun,” Ms Davis added.

“I think, and hope they do too, that we have a really fun dynamic amongst the group and all get along for the most part.” She laughs, “Every company has its issues now and again, but it’s about getting through it together and moving on that matters.”

Nikeyo Swan, who just celebrated his two year anniversary at the company, said, “In the past two years, I have gained a lot of experience. Working here has taught me to stick with something even when it is challenging. I’ve met new people, learned a lot and look forward to any new challenges that may arise.”

Brittany Leamey, who has been with ESC Limited for a little over a month saod, “When I started at ESC, I didn’t realize how much there would be to learn. I’m still learning new things every day, but everyone around here is quick to help each other out and lend a hand. I have enjoyed every minute so far; it is definitely a second family feeling.”
