Sr Caribbean Squash Championships Concludes

The 2015 Senior Caribbean Team Squash Championships [CASA] concluded in the Cayman Islands, with Bermuda Men’s & Women’s teams seeing action in 5th/6th place Playoff Matches.

Bermuda’s Women’s team defeated Jamaica 3 – 2. Bermuda got wins from Susie Lacie, Rachel Barnes and Runa Reta, while Meagan Jackson and Emma Keane went down.

Jackson went down in three games 12-10, 11-7, 11-9 to Nathlee Boreland, while Keane went down in four games to Brooke Burrows 9-11, 11-5, 11-9, 11-7.

Lacie defeated Tracey Binnie in a five game match 11-8, 7-11, 6-11, 11-6, 11-4, while Barnes defeated Lauren Mahfood in three games 11-4, 11-3, 11-3 and Reta defeated Mary Mahfood 11-4, 11-2, 11-7.

Wins from Noah Browne, Patrick Foster and Micah Franklin saw Bermuda to a 3 – 2 win over the ECA. Chris Stout went down 15-13, 9-11, 11-7, 11-3 to Jason Doyle, while Anthony Fellows was defeated Romario Constance 11-4, 10-12, 11-7, 11-9.

Browne recorded a three game win over Kevin Hannaway 11-8, 11-6, 11-8, while Foster defeated Jules Snagg 11-3, 11-7, 11-5 and Franklin defeated Othniel Bailey 6-11, 11-4, 13-11, 11-6.

Bermuda finished the overall Ranking in 6th place.
